Rumours have spread around with the HTC One A9 also known as HTC Aero sporting six colour variants in leaked images posted on Twitter by phone leaker, Evan Blass with Twitter handle @evleaks on Sept. 23. The images showed the following colours: Acid Gold, Opal Silver, Carbon Gray, Rose Gold, Deep Garnet and Cast Iron.

What's surprising is that these phones look like iPhone clones with their rounded edges and two wireless antennas both located at the top and bottom. Also, the new phone model has a physical button located at the bottom that might be a fingerprint sensor, too.

If Blass is right, then people can expect a mid-ranger type of phone with style-conscious types and not a high-end, 10-core model. While other audience didn't notice the similarity of the phones to iPhone, the skepticals say that the new A9s closely resembles iPhone 6s and even its colour choices are the same -- carbon grey, rose gold and silver.

The HTC One A9 can be described as an imitation of the iPhone with a Snapdragon 617 CPU, a 1080p screen and 2GB of RAM. It serves its purpose being decent at 13MP backside illuminated and a 4MP selfie cam, with Micro SD card slot and a fingerprint sensor.

Conflicting rumours on the specs of the new phone include a deca-core processor with 4GB RAM in contrast to what we have heard of its only 2GB of RAM.

In spite all the image leaks and rumours about HTC One A9, the actual specs of the  new phone model is still a mystery as HTC hasn't confirmed anything about those conflicting reports.  HTC will be hosting an event on September 29th so it doesn't take too long for us to know the official announcement and the truth about HTC One A9.
